Of course, it would be the current superseded version, but at least it would be Harley Davidson. If you suddenly find yourself in need of a factory prime front fender for your Heritage springer, you might have to wait a month or more to get one from Harley Davidson.

If you're a stickler for detail when it comes to your Harley restoration projects, you would see the added value of having the original of anything you were replacing, especially the tins. Everything I sell is genuine Harley Davidson. This is the original and obsolete front Flsts fender.

It was superseded by 97a, which weighs less than this fender not exactly an improvement. If you are restoring a 1997 Heritage springer, this is the original factory paint and is no longer available. The fender is new, but please zoom in to see exactly what you're getting. Like most things Harley paints, even primed tins, this fender is not 100 flawless which is understandable, considering a human made it.
